  1. Be accountable for your golf strokes and your own actions.
  2. Persistence & determination are essential in golf and life.
  3. Keep the end game in mind but live in the present.
  4. Have patience and trust the process even in difficult situations.
  5. Being a beginner is hard but we all have to start somewhere.
  6. Don’t count yourself out of a golf hole or opportunity.
  7. Don’t compare yourself to others.  Focus on your own game.
  8. Matches are won by one stroke – it all counts.
  9. Through skill, practice and experience I gain confidence.
  10. Win and lose graciously on and off the course.
